I am currently a Research Fellow in the Dynamical Systems, Control, and Optimization (DYSCO) group at IMT Lucca (Italy) working on an ERC Advanced Grant project led by Prof. Alberto Bemporad. My research focuses on mathematical optimization for engineering applications, spanning theoretical foundations, algorithm design, and practical implementations in machine learning, control systems, and interdisciplinary domains.

04-06-2025 Attended the Workshop on Optimization for Learning and Control at IMT Lucca, Italy, on June 4–6, 2025. Presented a poster titled “SCORE: Approximating Curvature Information under Self-Concordant Regularization.” Thanks to the organizers and participants for a great workshop!
03-06-2025 Successfully defended my PhD thesis titled “Quasi-Newton Methods for Solving Nonsmooth Optimization Problems in Learning and Control” at IMT Lucca, Italy, on June 3, 2025. The defence was well-received, and I am grateful for the support from my supervisor, committee, family, friends and colleagues.
02-02-2025 I am part of the ERC Advanced Grant project COMPACT, led by Prof. Alberto Bemporad. Excited to contribute to this innovative research initiative!
08-01-2025 Honored to have had the opportunity to present my work at Argonne National Laboratory (ANL), Lemont, Illinois, USA, in a virtual seminar organized by the Mathematics and Computer Science (MCS) Division at ANL.
